After 14 years working in the Health and Fitness industry and specialising in sports injuries and rehabilitation. My interest in using complementary therapies and particularly shiatsu grew throughout this time and I believe that it can be very useful as a preventative measure.

Graduating from the European Shiatsu School as a practitioner in 2003 for my human studies. During the last 2 years of study, I cross-trained with tESA (the Equine Association of Shiatsu in this country) and became a Shiatsu Equine Practitioner.

Having spent 40 years around horses in a variety of sectors, from buying, breaking, and schooling to dressage and racing, using these therapies in the equestrian world was the next logical step for me.

These treatments should not be seen as curative or as a replacement for Veterinary care but as a complementary therapy to work alongside conventional medicine.

Qualifications:

• Shiatsu Equine Practitioner – tESA(P)
• Shiatsu Practitioner – European Shiatsu School Diploma
• Registered Practitioner – Reflexology -IIHHT
• Stage 1 & 2 Equine Touch – IETA
